MACY BROWN
Head Trainer | Owner

Works primarily with advanced and competitive riders.
Specializes in refining performance, advancing skills, and preparing horse and rider for higher-level goals.

Macy Brown serves as the Head Trainer and lead instructor of our horseback riding program, bringing a lifelong passion for horses and a deep commitment to quality horsemanship. With years of hands-on experience in training, riding, and coaching, Macy has developed a well-rounded program that emphasizes both rider skill and horse welfare.

Macy works primarily with experienced and competitive riders, focusing on refining technique, enhancing performance, and developing horse-and-rider partnerships at a higher level. Her program emphasizes precision, effective communication, and a structured approach designed to help riders reach their full competitive potential.

Known for her patient, encouraging teaching style, Macy is dedicated to helping each student reach their individual goals. She takes pride in developing not only skilled riders, but knowledgeable horsemen and horsewomen who understand proper care, respect, and partnership with their horses.

In addition to her work with students, Macy oversees the training and conditioning of lesson horses to ensure they are responsive, well-mannered, and suitable for riders at every level. Her program reflects a strong belief in consistency, safety, and creating positive experiences for both horse and rider.

MARISSA RILEY
Assistant Trainer

Best suited for beginner to intermediate riders.
Focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and correct horsemanship in a supportive, structured environment.

Marissa Riley brings a lifelong passion for horses and a strong foundation in horsemanship to her role as Assistant Trainer at M Performance Horses. Having worked with horses her entire life, Marissa began teaching horseback riding and horsemanship lessons in 2019 and has since developed a reputation for her patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable approach.


For nearly five years, Marissa has worked closely under the guidance of head trainer Macy Brown, refining her skills and contributing to the growth and success of the program. She specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate riders, helping each student build confidence, develop proper fundamentals, and progress at their own pace.


Marissa is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment where riders of all levels can grow. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and takes pride in guiding each student’s journey, both in and out of the saddle.
